Proceedings: Information for Contributors  

The proceedings of the 9th Conference on the Intersections of Particle and Nuclear Physics will be published by AIP. The proceedings will be published online with the full content of the proceedings available to the conference participants from the AIP online Scitation system. In addition, AIP will produce a small number of printed volumes of the proceedings for distribution to libraries and other interested parties.

Author Instructions:

The proceedings will follow the AIP 6-inch x 9-inch format. LaTeX and MS Word templates are available at http::/www.aip.org/proceedings in the panel for authors. Please consult the AIP Style Manual for further information on standard symbols, abbreviations, and preferred style.

Page Allocations for the Plenary Talks:

Talks that are 35 minutes or more - 10 page maximum
Talks that are 25 minutes - 8 page maximum

Page Allocations for Parallel Talks:

Talks that are 15 minutes or less - 3 page maximum
20 minutes - 4 page maximum
25 minutes or more - 5 page maximum

DEADLINE for Submission:

All manuscripts must be received by August 15, 2006; early submissions are welcomed.

Submitting your Manuscript:

To submit your completed manuscript, uploade it via anonymous ftp to the conference server cipanp.npl.uiuc.edu. (Do NOT email it.) When prompted, enter anonymous for the user name and your email address for the password.

Once logged in, please enter cd incoming to move to the proceedings directory and then put your manuscript. For instance, from a linux machine, you would do the following:

>ftp cipanp.npl.uiuc.edu
Name: anonymous
Password: <your email address>
>cd incoming
>put MyManuscript.pdf

Please give your manuscript a unique, descriptive name. Both MS Word and PDF formats are accepted. If you are uploading a PDF file, please also upload the original source (LaTeX or MS Word) so that trivial editorial changes may be made without returning the manuscript to you.

If you did not complete a "transfer of copyright" form at the conference, download a copy, complete and sign it, and mail it to me at the following address:
